Welcome to The Butterfly Room, A Non-Domestic Childminding Setting, right in the heart of Angel, Islington.

8.15am – With a huge open space to play and run around, cosy corners for reading, arts & crafts and quiet play you child can choose how to get settled in, with help from their Childminder, before their day kicks off.
9am – Once everyone has arrived it’s time for our morning outing. Libraries, playgrounds, museums, farms, forest school… all of this and much more is right on our doorstep! You might spot us having our snack by regents canal while we feed the swans, or we could be off on a day long adventure to the British museum, no two days are the same!
12pm – Lunchtime! A delicious homecooked meal will fill up your child, or maybe a picnic at a local park when the sun is shining. Our meals are carefully planned to give your child all the right stuff.
1pm – The little ones need their nap. While they snuggle down with a bottle of milk, the older kids get comfy for table time where they can work on mark making, maths, simple science, puzzles, arts & crafts, small world play and even have a go at helping prepare the afternoon snack or dinner!
3pm – Free play in the setting, a local walk in the park, organised excersise such as yoga and a yummy afternoon snack will keep your child happily entertained until our Short Day ends at 3.45pm.
4.30pm – It’s dinner time for the Long Day kids. They might have a try of some shepherd’s pie, paella, veggie pasta bake, homemade pizzas, chicken curry… you name it, they will give it a go!
5.45pm – After a chat with parents to keep you up to date on how your child is doing it is time to say goodbye, ready for the next adventure tomorrow!
